Nickel 200/201 Sheets & Plates
Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 plates and sheets are high-purity, solid-solution nickel alloys known for their exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments. They offer excellent resistance to various corrosive substances, including acids and alkalis. These materials are often used in industries such as chemical processing, electronics, and aerospace, where their high thermal and electrical conductivity, along with their low electrical resistivity, make them valuable. Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 sheets and plates come in various sizes and thicknesses, suitable for a wide range of applications, from fabricating equipment components to lining tanks and vessels in corrosive environments.
Nickel 200 Sheets offer high corrosion resistance, much better than alloy, because to the presence of columbium. Because the required standard will be fully met as specified on the order, the chemical composition of Nickel 200 Plates may vary somewhat between different product standards. We are the leading manufacturers of Nickel 200 Coils, which come in a variety of diameters and lengths to meet your needs. Nickel 201 Sheets are commonly used for parts that are intermittently heated up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, with a maximum temperature of 1650 degrees Fahrenheit for continuous service. Only cold reduction in Nickel 201 Plates can take advantage of the alloy superior qualities. Nickel 201 Coils offer similar resistance to general, overall corrosion as the unsterilized chromium nickel Alloy.
Alloy 200 Sheets contain columbium and tantalum, which provide some desirable properties. Alloy 200 Plates are primarily employed in applications where corrosion resistance and long-term operation at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit are critical. In a petrochemical plant, Alloy 200 Coils must have appropriate creep resistance, hot corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance.
