Incoloy 825 Round Bars

Chromium in the ASTM B425 Gr 825 offers resistance to oxidising conditions, such as nitric acid solutions, nitrates and oxidising salts. The alloy is stabilised by the addition of titanium .Stabilizing the Incoloy 825 Bar is known to resist pitting and intergranular attack that could take place after fabrication. This also includes welding, during which, the Alloy 825 Round Bar reaches a the critical sensitisation temperature range between 650°C – 760°C, when the alloy is heated.

The ASTM B425 UNS N08825 offers exceptional resistance to corrosion from acids like sulphuric and phosphoric acids. The alloy is often, considered to be one of the most cost effective alloys in sulphuric acid service.Inconel 825 Round Bar has been approved for use in pressure vessel that operate in temperatures up to 525°C. Brittle phases may form in Incoloy 825 at temperatures above the range of 540°C. Therefore, it is not normally used in applications at these temperatures as well as higher temperatures, where creep rupture properties of the alloy would be design factors.
